Medical container – fast and simple to use

The lightweight medical container purchased by the Satakunta Rescue Department was designed to secure sufficient treatment resources during mass-casualty incidents or major accidents, such as road, aviation, or rail accidents, accidents involving hazardous materials, and large-scale fires.

The lightweight medical container contributes to securing the emergency care capacity of the Satakunta Rescue Department, and it is thus essential that the use of the container is both fast and simple.

The container includes equipment used to secure that patient’s vital functions. Considering the Finnish circumstances, it was also essential to ensure that the container would provide shelter against the prevailing weather conditions.

In addition to medical equipment, the container is also technically equipped to produce the electricity required by the lighting, heating, and the treatment equipment.
